This morning, Montgomery County, MD officially passed Resolution to Approve Executive Regulation #17-23AM – Building Energy Performance Standards (BEPS)! With this milestone, Montgomery County becomes the second largest local jurisdiction in the U.S. to pass BEPS, following New York City. A huge win for energy efficiency, climate action, and a greener future! Kudos to the advocates and leaders who made this happen.
