We're proud to sponsor and support the Chicago Rowing Union (CRU), which trains at the Dammrick Rowing Center in Skokie. McGrath Evanston Subaru's General Manager Jeremy Gleason and Sales Advisors Ken Zeller and Mike Isquierdo were given a tour before a recent training session. The Skokie Park District's world-class rowing center is one block east of our dealership on Oakton Street. The canal is part of the North Shore Channel of the Chicago River. Members of the CRU enjoy the sport because it's a low-impact, full-body workout, connecting with friends and the serenity of being on the water. The mission of the Chicago Rowing Union is to promote the sport of rowing to the LGBTQ+ community and allies. The Chicago Rowing Union provides inclusive educational and competitive programs that foster teamwork, personal growth, health, and fitness. The McGrath Evanston Subaru Angels Little League Team met with our sales manager, Brent Reeves, for some encouragement and a few laughs. Our team consists mainly of first-graders, who would be leading the league if they kept score! Special thanks to Coach Kristyn Bair for her dedication to the team!

Our biggest day of giving ever! - the check presentations to our hometown charities.? Giving back to the community never gets old at McGrath Evanston Subaru.?Now in its 16th year, the Subaru Share the Love Event keeps getting better! 2023 was another record year of giving, with over $68,000 in donations from Subaru and McGrath Evanston Subaru to C.A.R.E.-Community Animal Rescue Effort - CARE and CJE SeniorLife. C.A.R.E. began in 1987 to promote pet adoption. Today, a thriving group of volunteers is housed in a new adoption center in Skokie. The organization places dogs and cats in homes in Evanston, Skokie, Wilmette, Kenilworth, Niles, Morton Grove, Glenview, Northbrook, Northfield, and parts of Chicago. C.J.E. Senior Life is an organization with a mission to enhance the quality of life and facilitate independence for older adults. For 50 years, C.J.E. SeniorLife has been helping older adults pursue lives of meaning and good health. The funds raised were generated from new Subarus sold between Thanksgiving 2023 and New Year's Day. Subaru. In addition, every routine service visit that included an oil change added an additional $5 to the Share the Love donations. #SubaruShareTheLove
