Last week, the Women’s Giving Circle came together for their fall cycle meeting. They proudly granted $12,000 to support three amazing organizations: the Washington County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Marietta Memorial Health System, and the Warren Softball League! Their efforts in supporting local women and children in Washington County are truly inspiring. After three impactful years, Courtney Wentz will conclude her time with Marietta Community Foundation on Friday, September 6, 2024. She is set to follow the Ohio River to the Bluegrass State, relocating to Louisville, KY, due to her husband’s career change. The 2nd Annual InfluencHer Leadership Summit transformed an ordinary day into an extraordinary journey of growth and empowerment! 20 middle-school girls from nearly every school in Washington County participated, many starting the day feeling a mixture of nervousness and curiosity. By the time they left, they were beaming with newfound confidence and excitement. Thank you, BB2C: Building Bridges to Careers for partnering with us to bring this impactful initiative to life! Thank you, Marietta Noon Rotary Club and Elliott Financial Group (Ryan Elliott) for your generous sponsorships that enabled the program to be offered free of charge to our community's young leaders. Thank you, Washington State College of Ohio for welcoming our group to your beautiful and spacious campus. Thank you, Laura Miller for volunteering to serve as our dynamic emcee for the day.
