    We’re excited to announce that we have joined the Midwest Climate-Smart Commodity Program, administered by the Soil and Water Outcomes Fund (SWOF), a leading agricultural ecosystem services program. We will be partnering with PepsiCo to help drive the adoption of voluntary, regenerative agriculture practices across approximately 90,000 acres of agricultural land in the states across the U.S. Midwest. These types of programs help mitigate the risks and costs farmers face when adopting more sustainable practices, reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions linked to the supply chain and lead to water and soil health improvements.     The Soil and Water Outcomes Fund is excited to announce that McCormick & Company has joined our Midwest Climate-Smart Commodity Program! In collaboration with PepsiCo, the organizations will support farmers adopting regenerative practices on more than 90,000 acres of agricultural land across Minnesota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and northern Iowa, generating approximately 62,000 MT of CO2e abatement in the supply chain, in addition to other water and soil health improvements. Corporate commitments like this are essential to mitigating the risks and costs farmers face when adopting more regenerative practices, paving the way toward a more sustainable and resilient food system.     Today, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Guy Peri to the role of Chief Information & Digital Officer. In this global enterprise role he will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our digital transformation strategy and enterprise information technology. He will report to McCormick’s President & CEO, Brendan Foley. Guy joins McCormick with almost 30 years of experience leading digital strategy in service to consumers, customers and employees. His expertise encompasses application of data, AI, cloud, information security, and enterprise transformation programs to drive outcomes and transform businesses. He was P&G’s first Chief Data & Analytics Officer and most recently served as CIO of P&G’s Health Care sector where he led the development and implementation of data and digital strategies, predictive analytics platforms, and technology solutions. He developed and supported high performing teams who integrated digital capabilities into consumer-facing experiences, retail execution, supply chain operations and product innovation.     McCormick India has double the cause for celebrations this year with Diwali and the new office opening happening within the same week! On 7 November, the new office, located in DLF Building 7B at the modern Cyber City in Gurgaon, Haryana, opened to much fanfare with a traditional Indian ritual and customary ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Priya Sharma, MD of India-SEA and Tanuja Singi, VP of Global Business Services. Spanning 21,000 square feet, this modern space is now home to McCormick India and the new Global Business Services hub team. Following the formalities, employees gathered to celebrate Diwali and the new office launch at the annual Jashan party. The evening was filled with games, a lively employee talent show, and delicious food, embodying the festive spirit and camaraderie of the season. As India’s biggest and most cherished holiday, Diwali celebrates the victory of light over darkness. In that spirit, McCormick India is lighting up its journey ahead, committed to creating an inspiring workspace and the next big flavour!

    Today on Veterans Day, McCormick honors all those who have served to protect and defend our country, including the members of our U.S. Veterans Employee Ambassador Group (EAG), who hosted a flag-raising ceremony at our Global Headquarters and participated in the Brunswick, MD., Veterans Day parade. Together, we thank all veterans for their service.

    Since June, McCormick teams across the world have been giving back to the communities where we live, work, and operate as part of our 135 Days of Giving campaign. The campaign celebrates our 135th anniversary and honors the legacy of our founder, Willoughby McCormick, who believed in the power of giving to support those in need. We have already shared how our Asia Pacific and Americas regions gave back to their communities. Today we are spotlighting some examples of how teams throughout our EMEA region brought the power of giving to the next level. ? Baked cookies, prepared gift bags, and served afternoon tea to disadvantaged children and their families in France ? Raised money at an employee charity auction in Poland ? Supported a charity run in Poland and made a financial donation to a local hospice ? Celebrated Mandela Day in South Africa by supporting pupils at a local community school ? Participated in a dragon boat racing event in the UK to raise funds for a local hospice ? Volunteered at a nature reserve, a wildlife hospital and a charity supporting individuals with disabilities in the UK ? Organized two cooking events with local children and young people in Italy. McCormick Italy also raised donations for Il Delphino Onlus, a local organization that supports individuals with disabilities ? Partnered with Opera??o Nariz Vermelho in Portugal, an organization that works with hospitalized children, their families, and healthcare professionals to bring joy and healing through art ? Held a second-hand clothes sale in Turkey to support the education of children and young people living close to the McCormick Izmir Plant We thank each of our sites around the globe for giving back throughout our campaign.
