This week, #PeteAlonso of the New York Mets reminded us why resilience in the face of failure makes success?so powerful. After dropping a pop fly in foul territory with the Mets trailing the Brewers by two points in the eighth inning, Alonso stepped up to the plate when it mattered most. One swing of the bat changed everything – turning failure into triumph, stunning critics, and what could’ve been his last at-bat as a Met into a defining moment.
