The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) met today and approved a Final Rule, to take effect 60 days after publication in the Federal Register, which is intended to spark an overhaul of the U.S. electric transmission system.?The Rule should lead to an expansion of the electric grid as well as better planning and cooperation between regional transmission facilities.?For more information: https://lnkd.in/e6pUYjzE.? #ICYMI

ML attorney Don McCauley was honored to serve as a Panelist on Public Private Partnerships: Contracts and Contract Management in a program held last month in Bangkok, Thailand.?The program was organized by the Department of Commerce’s Commercial Law Development Program and the Public Private Partnership Authority, Bangladesh.??

Congratulations to ML Senior Attorney Michael Allen on being appointed to the Sustainability & Natural Resources Committee for the Village of McFarland, Wisconsin. The Village is not only Michael’s home, but a municipal solar energy leader that has earned the SolSmart Gold designation. Michael is looking forward to working with the other Committee members as the Village implements its Sustainability Plan and Comprehensive Energy Plan.
