This is the largest donation ever received by the Northeast Louisiana Food Bank, which serves 12 parishes where food insecurity affects 1 in 5 people and 1 in 3 children. McCarthy’s Atlanta, GA team brought home two awards from ABC of Georgia's 2024 Safety Awards Luncheon: the Georgia Award for Safety Excellence and the prestigious Diamond STEP Award! The Diamond STEP Award is one of the highest honors in safety. Our MEP team, led by partner Kyle Roman, has successfully navigated crucial system shutdowns and tie-ins, ensuring patient care remains uninterrupted. Here's a glimpse into our operations: ?First Shutdown: Medical Gas -Mitigated impact to six vital medical gases. Through meticulous planning, we reduced downtime from over a day to just 12 hours using innovative Med-Lok devices. ?Second Shutdown: Power Side-B - Focused on lighting circuits. We provided hospital staff with headlamps to maintain operational efficiency during the power outage. ? Third Shutdown: Power Side-A & Domestic Water - Tackled two systems overnight, ensuring critical equipment stayed powered and enhancing the hospital's water system. ?? With over 560 craft professionals and Goodyear Mayor Joe Pizzillo in attendance, we celebrated the topping out of AZ14 on Vantage Data Centers' Goodyear campus ?? As a thank you gift from the project team, every craft professional was sent home with a turkey to celebrate the holidays! AZ14 is set to complete in Summer 2026, as the fourth of five planned data centers for the AZ1 campus. When AZ1 completes in 2028, it will provide 176MW of critical service across more than 1 million square feet. ?? New Trinity Health System Hospital Coming to St. Clairsville, OH! ?? We’re excited to share progress on the new 20,000-SF neighborhood hospital we’re building for Trinity Health System in St. Clairsville, Ohio! This facility will bring critical healthcare access closer to home for local residents, who previously had limited options and faced a 15–20-minute drive to the nearest hospital. Our team embraced a few unique challenges to make this project a success: - Wet Weather Conditions: We overcame extremely rainy weather this year to stay on schedule for a Summer 2025 opening. Thanks to our wonderful partners, our team was able to adapt quickly, implement effective strategies, and keep construction moving forward despite the challenges. - Local Partnerships: New to the area, we collaborated with local experts, tapping into their knowledge to ensure smooth progress and alignment with regional standards. Partnering with local experts has been essential to ensuring smooth progress of this project. Once complete, this hospital will be a game-changer for the community, improving patient access to high-quality care and providing healthcare staff with a thoughtfully designed, modern facility to serve St. Clairsville and nearby areas. (AGC Georgia) to attend the Northeast, Northwest, and Metro Regional Skills Challenges. ?? #DidYouKnow that the University of Arizona just unveiled the world's largest Thermal Vacuum Chamber in a collegiate research facility inside of its very own Applied Research Building? We celebrated the completion of this award-winning design-build project with SmithGroup at the start of 2023, but this milestone marks the commissioning of the building's core technology! ??? What is a Thermal Vacuum Chamber? This 40-ton, 30-foot-long chamber simulates atmospheric temperature and pressure conditions for students and researchers to test nanosatellites prior to space launch. It can even test objects up to the size of a large pickup truck! Because of its size and complexity, we partnered with KFI Engineers to help us ensure the smoothest installation and commissioning possible. With the help of our in-house Building Information Modeling (BIM), we 3D scanned the chamber to map out all critical tie-ins and ensure every detail through installation.
