McCampbell Analytical was pleased to host the NorCal Microplastics Workshop, partnered with the Southern California Coastal Water Research Project (SSCWRP)?and the State Water Resources Control Board, Div of Drinking Water, to provide Bay Area participating public water utility agencies sample collection methods?for microplastics in drinking water.? ? The workshop was part of the State Water Board’s efforts to prepare for issuing monitoring orders to water systems for microplastics,?using standardized sampling methods. This one-day, lecture-based workshop, focused on the methods to be used in sample collection and included? some hands-on demonstrations. ? McCampbell Analytical lab tours were also provided to those who were interested. #microplastics #environmentaltesting
