  • It was a pleasure visiting Francis Howell Central High School to present to their team of counselors about eating disorders and the critical role they play in early identification and support. Our presentation led by our Manager of Educational Services, Nancy Anderson, provided valuable insights into the signs, symptoms, and treatment options for eating disorders, equipping counselors with the tools to better support students in need. This is a great example of how we can work together to ensure students receive the care and attention they deserve. We are excited to continue these vital conversations and empower educators and counselors in making a difference.??

We had the privilege of presenting to the dedicated elementary school counselors at Columbia Public Schools during their monthly meeting. Our focus was on how we can be a supportive resource for both students and families facing the challenges of eating disorders. Through our collaborative efforts, we aim to provide comprehensive, compassionate, and accessible resources to help individuals thrive emotionally and mentally.?? #SchoolCounselors #StudentSupport #ColumbiaPublicSchools

  • It was a pleasure being a part of this year’s Minnesota Association of Resources for Recovery and Chemical Health (MARRCH) in Minnesota. It was truly inspirational exploring groundbreaking approaches to treating addiction recovery and eating disorders, and how we can integrate collaboration. Kudos to the MARRCH team for fostering an environment where open conversations and shared knowledge lead to real change. #MARRCH2024 #RecoveryJourney

  • Military Family Month in November is a time to acknowledge and applaud the extraordinary sacrifices military families make. They face lengthy separations, continuous relocations, and the stress of their loved ones in peril, yet they show exceptional resilience and boldness. This month, let's convey our appreciation and contribute our support. Be it through a thoughtful note, a gentle deed, or sharing valuable resources - every little act has an impact. Let's spread knowledge and stand united with the families supporting our uniformed heroes.

  • We feel privileged to receive heartfelt appreciation from those we've had the opportunity to serve at McCallum Place. Here are some poignant testimonials from our community members. We are committed to offering excellent services and are endlessly thankful for everyone who has shared their journey with us. Your experiences inspire our ongoing delivery of superior care. If you or a loved one has experienced our outstanding care, we'd love to hear your story. #ThankfulForRecovery "I was admitted into McCallum Place when I was 15. I have been in recovery for over a few years now, and I couldn’t possibly be where I am without their help. Keep in mind, you have to stay open minded with treatment, otherwise it won’t help. I owe my health and happiness to this team of lovely people." "6 months residential in the victory program and 6 months in the PHP and IOP program. The best treatment center I have ever had, the management staff has vast knowledge about ED along with great training. They know ED triggers, dialogues, and actions to take and NOT to take. I highly recommended this place to anyone battling ED. Stay strong - the process isn’t linear but can always improve in recovery and this place provides the tools and resources for that journey. "
