What a whirlwind of a week here at the Pittsburgh Technology Council & Fortyx80 ! Last week, I visited two very cool member companies MCC International Inc. And HAMR Industries LLC . Thanks to James Keefer and Michael Schmitt for hosting us! We celebrated Pittsburgh’s coolest companies of the year at #pghtech50 followed by a quick weekend trip to Universal Orlando Resort for some R&R with my husband. I was right back at it yesterday as we hosted an Explore the Floor at Touchstone Research Laboratory ! Thank you to Brian Joseph , Stevie Boles and Dan Connell for sharing your great work. I love that my job enables me to connect with so many great people and companies! And, we still have lots going on before the end of the year.

Its been an incredible first half of November on the road visiting with Pittsburgh Technology Council & Fortyx80 Members and attending our annual Tech 50 Awards! ?? ?? Below are some highlights! ?? Iron Mountain - Data Center tour with Bill Ford ?? Clark Testing - learned about the Battery Lab with Devon Lohr & Paul G Heffernan III ?? Emerson - Anne Turkowski showed us their new Cranberry Headquarters ?? Point Park University - Dean Jolin M.Ed. provided a tour of the new PCRC Space ?? Chick Machine Co., LLC - Bobby Petrini met with us at their Butler Facility ?? MCC International Inc. - James Keefer provided an inside look at centrifugal casting in McDonald, PA ??Magee-Womens Research Institute & Foundation - attended Magee Women's Summit Dinner, the largest research institute in the U.S. devoted exclusively to women's health research. ??Annual Tech 50 Awards - so proud of all the finalists and winners. What an incredible community we have here in Pittsburgh!
