#October is Fire Prevention Month, and McAllister & Quinn is proud to highlight the impactful work of our friends at the National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA). For over a century, NFSA has advocated for a safer world by promoting fire sprinklers and stronger fire protection standards. With Halloween coming up tomorrow night, we wanted to share the National Fire Sprinkler Association tips on Halloween fire safety. NFSA reports that 47% of fires caused by decorations result from items being placed too close to heat sources, like candles or hot equipment, and 32% of these fires are started by candles. Stay safe this Halloween! #FirePreventionMonth #FireSafety
This Week's Theme is #Halloween #Fire Safety. 47% of fires caused by decorations occur because they are too close to a heat source, such as a candle or hot equipment. 32% of these fires were started by candles. And yes...#FireSprinklers can often contain/extinguish these fires!
