The McAlister's brand team had the best time hosting a cooking class with GiGi’s Playhouse? adult group at the GoTo Foods office! Chief Brand Officer Michael Freeman kicked off the program with an overview of our newest LTOs - Witch's Brew, Trick-or-Treat Cookie and Caramel Apple Crisp Cookie. Executive Chef Brock Peek gave a spooky demonstration of our Witch's Brew Lemonade in a witch's cauldron over dry ice. After the demonstrations, the Gigi’s Playhouse? Adult group got to enjoy decorating their own cookies that showed off their creativity with a variety of spooky toppings. McAlister’s is proud to hold a corporate partnership with GiGi’s Playhouse?, a nonprofit that hosts Down Syndrome Achievement programs. Their mission is to raise awareness on how we can work together to change the way the world views Down Syndrome with a global acceptance for all. Our brand participates in GiGi’s employment program - giving these individuals the opportunity to work in our Atlanta corporate locations as greeters and food bussers. They bring smiles to our guests and our TEAm every day!
