42 years ago today my father Rick Cortez founded MCA Communications. Houston was going through one of the worst recessions in history and probably the worst time to start a business. He took an enormous risk but I know now that the reason why he succeeded was because he had no choice. He had a young family to provide for and employees that depended on him. When you have the mindset that failure is not an option you start to see every challenge that life and business throws at you as an opportunity to rise above that challenge and grow. Running a business is not easy and there are good days and bad days but I count my blessings everyday to have the opportunity to lead a great company with awesome people who work very hard and have a ton of passion. Thank you to everyone who has been part of the MCA Communications, Inc. journey for the last 42 years. Hears to another 42 years 😅😅

As the new year begins, I’m excited to share a video from my very first holiday party with MCA Communications, Inc.! I had the privilege of helping organize this incredible event for our amazing team, and it was such a meaningful experience! I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to welcome our team and connect with so many amazing people in our field. Joining the MCA family has been a truly rewarding journey. In a short time, I’ve been surrounded by an incredible culture and dynamic. I’ve grown both professionally and personally, gaining insight not only into marketing but also into the incredible work being done in telecommunications. Today, I had the chance to visit one of our data center refresh projects and I was very impressed with the the quality of work , attention to detail and dedication to safety that our team displayed.
