As we draw closer to completing another monumental project "The Steinway Tower" 111 W. 57th Street, New York, NY, and move towards securing the final certificate of occupancy, the MBE team couldn't be prouder to have contributed to such an iconic endeavor. Navigating the certificate of occupancy process can be incredibly challenging, particularly with its multiple phases and signoffs. Yet, under the expert leadership of Liliana Ovalles and Brian Redlein, our team has nearly reached the finish line. The residential portion is fully TCO'd, and we need to finalize the commercial part of the building. Reflecting on the journey over the years—from initial approvals and construction to the certificate of occupancy process—our collaboration with the JDS Development Group team has been remarkable. MBE Code & Zoning LLC is proud to announce that the Final Certificate of Occupancy has been issued for the new Richard Gilder Center of Science and Innovation at The American Museum of Natural History. One of the most complex projects from conception through completion; is the design, functionality, and fluidity of connection to existing museum. This is not an ordinary project. The uniqueness of the concept was brought to life using knowledge and creativity while navigating through the filing strategy process of the Department of Buildings. Mr. Brian Redlein, Principal diligently led from the initial strategy phase, development, meeting & coordination with the DOB and executives to the successful achievement that we celebrate today. Our Project Executive Management team, Millie Dominguez and Rose Perez were vigilant and meticulous in all filings, renovations, completion, and Certificate of Occupancy. The knowledge and experience of the MBE team facilitated a smooth and successful project. The MBE team is grateful to have had the opportunity to collaborate with a tremendous consultant team, Davis Brody Bond, Zubatkin, and Tishman. A special thanks to Ann Siegel (retired Senior Vice President of AMNH) & Mr. Robert Williams (Senior Director of Construction at AMNH) and The American Museum of Natural History for bringing the MBE team to run this project. We are excited to announce the topping out the new luxury mixed-income building located at 300 E. 50th Street, NYC. This 194-unit multi-family building, under construction features ground-floor retail at the corner of East 50th Street and 2nd Avenue. The building was designed by BKSK Architects, MAG Partners, Global Holdings Management Group, Safanad, and Urban Atelier Group who brought us on to help obtain the building approvals and permits.?
