We're proud to call Liam Fangman one of our own here at the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business and can think of no better representative to fly the MBA Military Veterans Club of Notre Dame colors! Not only is Mendoza a great place for veterans, but Liam has shown it's a program where former enlisted veterans can succeed in finding the post-military outcomes they want. Thanks to Service to School for having Liam on!

Yesterday, members and friends of the MBA Military Veterans Club of Notre Dame participated in Duncan Hall's annual ND 110 Stair Climb in Notre Dame Stadium to honor the efforts and sacrifices of first responders on September 11th, 2001. ND110 signifies the 110 flights of stairs in each of the World Trade Center towers and the event raises funds for HEART 9/11, a non-profit founded by New York 9/11 first responders that provides support and assistance to communities affected by natural disasters and tragedies. Today, at the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business, 23 years after that fateful day, life continued as normal. Students attended classes, networked, and took Professor Mike Meyer's accounting midterm. At the end of the day, an MBA class meeting brought students together. A member of our Club spoke about the day, recounting where some classmates were in the world that September morning. While many students in the Mendoza Classes of 2025 and 2026 were too young to have their own 9/11 memories, they were urged tonight to Never Forget. God, Country, Notre Dame.

The University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business kicks off the 2024-2025 academic year today, meaning the MBA Military Veterans Club of Notre Dame welcomes a new cohort of 14 active-duty and veteran servicemembers to South Bend. This group, pictured below in Notre Dame Stadium, served domestically and abroad in the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. We're excited to have them and their families here at Mendoza and look forward to seeing them accomplish great things this academic year! #growthegood??

As a proud Air Force officer and dedicated leader, Erin Stevens, MBA '25, had high expectations when selecting an MBA program to challenge her growth and leadership goals. “Notre Dame’s commitment to service, community, and personal growth was exactly what I needed to become the best version of myself,” she says. Erin's journey from the Air Force to Mendoza is driven by her passion for the supportive, values-driven community at Notre Dame. Each Memorial Day, we always strive to remember our military brothers and sisters who made the ultimate sacrifice while in service of their country. We encourage you to take some time today to reflect on memories of friends and family who are no longer with us, reach out to those you’ve served with or those who’ve experienced loss of a loved one firsthand to remind them they are not alone. Remember, we are strongest when we band together. We thank each and every one of you for celebrating this Memorial Day with us.

As we conclude the month of April and look to finals, graduation, and summer - the MBA Veterans Club wants to thank each and every one of you for your support and generosity during Notre Dame Day and the month of April. With your help, we were able to raise more than $10,000 toward support, programming, and opportunities for veterans and their families making their transition through the MBA program here at Notre Dame. We're already looking forward to welcoming our next class to campus next year and continuing to build support, engagement, and success each year. Thank you!
