Due to suggestion of so many of you I am working on creating an actual charity for this called The Stelter Initiative. Its goal is to keep cleaning up and helping the community. I hope y'all will take the initiative and come help us on Feb 22 clean up the #permian. Its been amazing seeing people come together to get 79 tons of trash cleaned up in just 10 clean ups. The #permian is always willing to come together to make each day a little better than it was before. Great companies and people came together last week to clean up a homeless encampment in Midland and we cleaned up 10 tons of trash from the site. Big thank you to Jamey Fowler and Tellus Services, LLC for bringing out a skid steer and a bunch of guys. Danny L Conley and his guy from Alliance Field Services-Permian Basin/Delaware Basin also brought out a skid steer for this project and deserve a big thank you. And another guy who came out all by himself with his skid steer and needs a Thank you is Richard J. Wright of Equi-Nex and Diamondback Energy Big shout out as well to Kevin Omachel of Wildcat Site Services LLC who has supplied dumpsters for the last 2 clean ups. Professional and on time. Thank you Kevin. Big thank you to Jonna D Smoot who helped organize and bring this together as well as bring out Pizza for the guys after. Her and Kim delaPena helped get me with Karl Boroski and The Field's Edge to coordinate the site and the manpower to make this happen. Another gentleman came out to help wrangle this all up and be a resource out there. I won't tag him as he seems to want to remain anonymous but big thank you to him. It's nice to have back up out there. I would like to do another clean up in February either the weekend of the 15th or 22nd. What works for everyone? Would start at 1030 to Noon incase its cold it won't be too bad. Once it starts warming up we will get back to an earlier start. Hoping to find a spot between Odessa and Midland.
