  • This week, the Business Honors Staff and student duo, Arjun Bhatt and Colby Mechem, made their way to the Business Honors and Leadership Conference at UT Austin. It was a great opportunity for Business Honors programs from across the nation to come together and share insights on boosting student engagement and success. A highlight of the conference was Claire Raabe and Colby’s presentation on Professional Development Events, where they were able to share about the ins and outs of planning events. We were thrilled to exchange ideas and learn from this fantastic experience. Looking forward to implementing what we learned! Ashley AndersonRyder Patterson

  • Today, our students had the opportunity to attend a Mays Leader Forum featuring Cyndy Tonniges '91. During the session, she shared her experiences at TriQuest Technologies, an Aggie-founded IT solutions provider. The students gained insights into the small business aspects of operating an IT company, which included topics such as recruiting, insurance, vendor relationships, payroll, marketing, and office management. It was an enriching experience, and we deeply appreciate her willingness to pass on her expertise to the next generation of leaders!
