At PEU, our Tenant Support Unit isn’t just about providing resources—it’s about building relationships and offering support with empathy and care. ??Staff Spotlight?? Tyeast is dedicated to our Home Support Unit (HSU)’s mission: partnering with rental owners, real estate agents, and property managers to expand housing opportunities for New Yorkers living in shelter. With that mindset, partnerships with DHS providers and brokers, and HSU's inventory, Tyeast was able to set up shelter resident for success. Tyeast says of this client, "through persistent outreach to brokers and coordinated viewings, she successfully secured an apartment and is moving in November 1st!" For her, it's incredibly rewarding to know that her work provides not just a roof, but a fresh start for those in need. Want more inspiring stories?
