Because knowledge is power — and every tenant deserves stability. ?? Tenant Support Unit (TSU) Services: ? Tenant Helpline – Provides guidance on tenant rights and housing issues. ? Legal Assistance – Connects tenants with free legal support. ? Eviction Prevention – Helps tenants facing eviction secure legal and financial aid. ? Landlord Harassment Support – Assists tenants experiencing landlord harassment. ? Housing Repairs – Helps tenants request repairs from landlords or city agencies. ? Events like these remind us that public engagement isn’t just about providing services—it’s about fostering stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities. At PEU, we work year-round to connect New Yorkers with essential programs that improve their well-being and financial security, including: ?? Rent Freeze (SCRIE & DRIE): Helping eligible seniors and New Yorkers with disabilities keep their rent affordable. ?? NYC Care: Providing access to low-cost or no-cost healthcare for New Yorkers who are ineligible for traditional health insurance. ?? Fair Fares NYC: Offering 50% discounted MetroCards to eligible individuals. ?? HEAP: Assisting households with heating costs during the colder months. ?? SNAP & Food Assistance: Helping families access nutritious food and combat food insecurity.
