We're #hiring a Community Engagement Coordinator to join our growing team at City of Boston OYEA! This individual will support OYEA by serving as the?liaison between the Office and the communities served. They will lead the work of YouthLine — OYEA's youth resource hub — connecting constituents to a wide variety of resources, events, and services offered both internally and externally by the office. The Coordinator will represent OYEA across different community events and meetings and serve as a direct link between our office and its constituents. Interested? Read more and apply below!

I had the pleasure of meeting with the Department of Youth from the City of Taipei, Taiwan. They recently launched their department and came to Boston to learn about the work we are doing for young people across the city. We hope to continue building bridges across both cities.

We had the best time with our friends at the Dorchester ABCD Head Start Program reading stories to the children! Thank you to our City of Boston family in the Mayor's Office of LGBTQ+ Advancement for supporting?this work. We had a dance party and met many future leaders. Thanks so much?Action for Boston Community Development, Inc.?for letting our team join in on all the reading fun!???

This week, our team had the pleasure of meeting with Dr.?Robyn Riseberg, founder of Boston Community Pediatrics (BCP) - the first nonprofit, pediatric private practice of its kind in Massachusetts.?We are thankful for the opportunity to continue collaborating, amplifying the revolutionary work she is doing, and connecting young people across the city to BCP and the services they provide!

As we continue developing our first-ever Youth Needs Assessment, we're so grateful to be able to share knowledge with our incredible idea partners in this work. These include Dr. Idia Thurston and her team at Northeastern University's CHANGE Lab (pictured with the OYEA team), as well as the Boston Public Health Commission's Community Health Collaborative.
