A Texas District Court has invalidated the 2024 Final Overtime Rule, reversing increases to salary thresholds for overtime exemptions under the FLSA. Minimums return to $35,568 for EAP exemptions and $107,432 for HCE exemptions. Starting July 1, 2024, the salary threshold for exempt workers increased from $684/week ($35,568 annually) to $844/week ($43,888 annually).?It’s set to rise again on January 1, 2025, to $1,128/week ($58,656 annually), with automatic updates every three years.
