To celebrate International Women’s Day in Brazil, we distributed bracelets made by local female artisans. Purchase of the bracelets helped support the recovery of those affected by flooding in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Colleagues were also encouraged to send messages to those who inspire them in their day-to-day work and place them in “inspiration boxes” set up in our Rio de Janeiro and S?o Paulo offices. #IWD?

Mayer Brown offices around the world celebrated International Women’s Day with enthusiasm. In Hong Kong, office members gathered to enjoy a happy hour event with games and cupcakes from one of our pro bono clients, The Good Cake, a bakery that uses its earnings to buy rice for elderly women living in poverty in Hong Kong. In London, colleagues gathered to honor and celebrate the achievements of the remarkable women within our firm and around the world, while in Germany, colleagues gathered over cake and coffee to reflect on #IWD.?
