It's our latest prototype, a media editor that leverages Zero Knowledge proofs to ensure the authenticity of your digital content. Starting with images and soon expanding to audio, it demonstrates how ZK technology can secure media authenticity by allowing you to certify your content. ??????? 3/ Step 1: Register an Image ??? Begin by registering your image with the Maya protocol. This adds a unique, verifiable signature that confirms your content's authenticity and secures your ownership right from the start. ??Secure and simple ? 4/ Step 2: Trusted Edits ?? Each edit you make, be it cropping or applying filters, generates a Zero Knowledge proof ???. These proofs can be quickly verified to guarantee the authenticity of each modification, tracing all changes back to the original. ???? 5/ Step 3: Share with Assurance Post-editing, generate a verification link for your final edited image ??.     The Maya team had an amazing time at #zksummit in the beautiful city of Athens, Greece ???? ??? Here are some key takeaways from our discussions: Hardware ? It is clear that hardware acceleration is crucial for scaling ZKPs for media authenticity ? We discussed how we could enhance our ZK-Prover by using Ingonyama - Zero Knowledge Proof Hardware Acceleration 's hardware acceleration libraries to significantly improve our generation of ZK-Proofs for image transformations ? A talk by Hamid Salehi from AMD highlighted developments in building FPGAs for further acceleration Privacy Preserving ? Privacy is an important feature of the Maya Protocol, as users often prefer not to reveal the original media (e.g; images) ? We discussed potential solutions with various teams, including using TEEs (@MarlinProtocol ) and MPC (@TACEO_IO ). ? FHE (Zama ) could also be an alternative, however it would be prohibitively expensive Client Side Proving ? Client-side proving was also a topic of discussion as we explored what it would take to generate proofs on consumer hardware, including mobile devices and browsers. ? Polygon Labs is working on Polygon Miden and StarkWare also released their new STWO proof system ZKML ? Additionally, techniques in #zkML can also be quite useful for Maya as #zkML systems handle floating-point operations and compute privacy efficiently And, that’s a wrap!
