We don't require the harsh mining of our precious Earth which may cause pollution of surrounding areas and water supplies. There are no cruel labor conditions, as seen in many of these mines, necessary to produce lithium needed for current demands. And, disposal of Maxwell products is extremely simple and safe for the environment. Whereas, elements found in batteries need to be disposed of at licensed smelters, not placed in landfills where they can catch on fire or ruin the water supply, and cannot be incinerated.
