Maxim Crane is powering through a complex lift at a wind farm, using our Liebherr LTM1750-9.1 with a Grove GMK5165-2 tailing crane to replace a main bearing on a 262ft turbine. ? With the rotor weighing 105,000 lbs and lifted at a 75' radius, our LTM1750-9.1 was configured with TYV2EN, featuring a 161.2’ main boom, two extensions, a Y-frame, and a 92’ luffing jib, supported by 229,000 lbs of counterweight. As we conclude our Veterans Day celebrations, we want to take a moment to highlight an important initiative that underscores our commitment to supporting veterans. We are proud to be a part of the America’s Mighty Warriors an organization dedicated to honoring and supporting our nation’s veterans and their families. Through this effort with Hale Trailers we are able to donate with every trailer purchased.

As we continue to recognize Veterans this week, we are proud to share this special video that highlights the experiences of one of our veteran colleagues here at Maxim Crane Works. This video showcases an example of the journey of veterans from military service to becoming an integral part of our team. In the video, you’ll meet Oscar, an operator out of Nashville, TN who discusses his military experience and how Maxim has supported his transition to a civilian career.

Maxim Crane is very proud to celebrate an extraordinary achievement by one of our own, Troy Wagner, Vice President of Safety here at Maxim. Troy was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross from his former U.S. Army unit. This prestigious honor recognizes his leadership as the primary planner and flight lead for the first mission flown into Afghanistan after the 9/11 attacks.

Today, as we commemorate Veterans Day, we take this opportunity to honor and recognize the incredible service and sacrifices of our veterans here at Maxim Crane and across the country. Their dedication, courage, and commitment to our country are values we deeply respect and are proud to celebrate.
