Looking toward 2026, our Power and Propulsion Element (PPE) engineers are beginning to prepare for next year’s launch rehearsals. Throughout 2025, our engineers will build out the mission control center in Palo Alto for these rehearsals. We’ve recently received the voice communication systems and camera that will help us achieve this feat. For those who have worked on PPE since the beginning, the construction of the mission control center is an exciting milestone on our journey to the moon! #NASA #space #lunar

Maxar Space Systems’ partners at Busek have started testing the flight thrusters for the Power Propulsion Element (PPE). Our long-standing collaborative effort to develop new, high powered electric thrusters in the United States is finally at a stage where we can see the fruits of our progress. These thrusters, built and tested at Busek, are bringing us one step closer to the moon. #aerospace #spacetech #satellite #gateway #artemis

Thank you for having Quincy Stott, Greenberg Traurig, LLP. It is always great to connect with other industry experts.
?? On February 24, the #GTDenver office was proud to host an engaging program, led by Skip Smith and Jeff Chiow, diving into The DoD and U.S. Space Force Policies on the Use of Commercial Space Assets and Dual Use Issues. ?? Keynote speaker Mike Dickey delivered a thought-provoking overview of how commercial space integrates with national security. ?? Panel discussions followed, featuring incredible insights: ? Jeff Chiow moderated a dialogue with Col. Jimmy Gutzman, Jesse Morehouse, and Quincy Stott on whether these policies are working. ? Skip Smith moderated a panel with Jack Beard, Todd Pennington, Dennis Burnett, and Matt Linton on the complexities of dual-use commercial space assets for national security standards. Special thanks to our speakers and the Colorado Space Business Roundtable for their partnership in advancing these discussions on the future of commercial space! ?? #SpacePolicy #SpaceLaw #NationalSecurity #CommercialSpace #Innovation
