A woman's place is anywhere she aspires to be—like, say, a Nasdaq billboard in Times Square ?? When we expand the narrative of where women belong, we create space for more voices, more innovation, and more meaningful change. Seeing our founder & CEO Kate Ryder's powerful words light up Times Square is a reminder that when women dream big, they shine bright. Thanks to our client Rokt for featuring us, and for being such great champions for women and families in your own organization! #WomensHistoryMonth #WomenInTech

As we celebrate #WorldDoulaWeek, we're inspired by innovative employers like Amazon who recognize that doulas are essential to improving maternal health. Our newly expanded partnership with Amazon brings pregnancy support with virtual doulas as well as comprehensive fertility and family-building resources to their employees across the US. Through Maven, Amazon employees have 24/7 care in their pocket through some of life’s most joyful and vulnerable moments—from family planning through postpartum. Today this means: First-time parents can feel prepared for the unpreparable by meeting with a virtual doula through every step of their pregnancy and postpartum. A couple pursuing IVF after two years of trying to conceive can access both virtual specialist support and financial coverage for treatment through one integrated platform. Aspiring parents can start exploring surrogacy and adoption with a dedicated Care Advocate, access to top-rated agencies and clinics, and forums of other families all at their disposal. When companies invest in this holistic support, families and businesses thrive. We’re proud to partner with Amazon as they deliver this transformative care and set a new standard for family-building support. Together, we’re creating healthier beginnings for families and empowering employees to navigate life’s biggest milestones with confidence. "I think we can make [parenting] a little easier and take some of the pressure off of people—and if we can do that, there's more moments to just recognize, oh my god, I can't believe that I get to have this feeling about a person. For me, that's so magical." Maven recently welcomed Emily Oster—renowned economist, bestselling author, and founder of ParentData—for an insightful conversation about evidence-based decision making, navigating misinformation, and finding joy amid parenting challenges. Today's parents face an overwhelming amount of information and often conflicting advice about starting and raising a family. Parents deserve better. Like Emily, we're committed to empowering families with reliable, evidence-based guidance they can trust. By cutting through the noise with data-driven insights and clear guidance, we help parents make confident decisions based on evidence rather than fear—so they can spend less time worrying and more time experiencing the magical moments that make parenting worthwhile. ?

According to our recent survey of more than 5,000 HR leaders and employees, 92% of working parents feel burnt out from balancing work and parenting responsibilities—and 81% want their employers to be doing more to support them. Forward-thinking companies that invest in strong parenting support see impressive results: employees are 91% more likely to stay long-term and 26% more likely to give extra effort. What are these organizations doing differently? ?? They prioritize flexible work schedules, giving parents the breathing room they need to meet both personal and professional demands. ?? They embrace hybrid work models, saving commute time and and allowing parents to maintain a better work-life balance. ?? They implement effective parental leave and return-to-work support with manager training, regular check-ins during leave, and phased return options. ?? They offer comprehensive parenting benefits like childcare subsidies, mental health resources, and on-demand parenting support. By addressing these key areas, HR leaders aren't just reducing burnout—they're fostering a more engaged workforce and positioning their company as an employer of choice. #employeebenefits #hr #parentingbenefits

Managers: This one's for you! ?? The first few weeks back from parental leave often determine whether valuable team members stay or eventually leave your organization. And the numbers don't lie: according to the National Bureau of Economic Research, 24% of women leave the workforce in the first year of motherhood. As a manager, your actions during this critical transition period can make all the difference in helping your direct reports have a positive experience. Here are six ways you can set returning parents up for success: 1?? Suggest a check-in call two weeks before their first day back. Share key updates and discuss scheduling needs, giving them time to mentally prepare for their return. 2?? Remind your report about any resources that are available to them, including lactation room support if they're pumping. 3?? Check your report's workplace setup to ensure their desk is prepared and technology is functioning properly. 4?? Schedule a welcome-back meeting on their first day to reconnect, address questions, and outline expectations for their first few weeks. 5?? Set the tone with your team by reminding colleagues to welcome the returning parent and respect their calendar boundaries. 6?? Check in regularly during the first few months to ensure their transition is going smoothly and address challenges early. What approaches have you found most effective when supporting team members returning from parental leave? #parentalleave #returntowork #managertraining

Ten years ago, when our founder & CEO Kate Ryder pitched investors on the idea of a virtual clinic for women and families, she heard things like… "Don't women already have doctors?" "I'll have to ask my wife about that." "This seems like a pretty small market." Her response? Women are half our population, and they deserve better. Today, that is the headline of her profile in Inc. Magazine. Thank you to Inc. for recognizing Kate on the annual Female Founders 500 list, and for highlighting our journey from a "niche" idea to a global platform that connects more than 17 million people to the care they deserve, when they need it most. A decade after Kate built Maven, we hold her founding vision to be true: when we reimagine healthcare for women and families, we reimagine it for everyone. "I wouldn't bet against the average consumer when they get the right information in their hands." —Kate Ryder, Maven Founder & CEO Earlier this week on the global stage at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, our Founder & CEO Kate Ryder spoke with David Rowan, Founding Editor-in-Chief at WIRED UK, about how Maven is leveraging technology to democratize access to healthcare, build trust, and empower patients to take control of their health journeys. A few key insights: ?? Trusted health information has never mattered more: In an era where more than 30% of Gen Z gets health information exclusively from TikTok—and 3 in 4 fertility videos come from non-medical sources—reliable information is essential. Technology can counter widespread misinformation by connecting patients directly with verified, evidence-based health resources. ?? The consumer healthcare revolution is (finally) here: After a decade of incremental progress, we're witnessing a dramatic acceleration in patient-centered innovation. Digital health solutions are finally becoming as intuitive and personalized as the consumer apps we use every day, delivering healthcare experiences that are designed with the patient in mind. ?? Human-centered AI is transforming care delivery: Strategic application of technology where it excels—automating complex processes and personalizing experiences—allows healthcare providers to focus on what they do best: delivering empathetic, high-quality care. This balanced approach means technology enhances rather than replaces the human connection that's essential to healthcare. ?? Technology can be an advocate for those who need it most: In regions with limited or restricted healthcare access, digital tools offer navigation through complex health systems and provide critical information exactly when patients need it most—putting expertise and support directly in their hands. The promise of healthcare innovation lies in reimagining who holds power in the healthcare journey. Technology can fundamentally transform how patients experience healthcare—and by centering women and families in this transformation, we're setting a new standard for what healthcare can and should look like for everyone. #MWC25 #ai #digitalhealth

What if surviving cancer meant losing your chance to become a parent? For thousands of young cancer patients, fertility becomes an urgent, unexpected priority. A diagnosis suddenly transforms a distant dream of parenthood into an immediate, critical decision—often with a narrow window to preserve eggs before treatment begins. Although cancer rates in young women are rising, the healthcare system has remained woefully unprepared. In fact, less than half of young women with breast cancer receive counseling about preserving their fertility. Yet out of this challenging landscape emerged a remarkable story of resilience: cancer survivors became the architects of change, transforming fertility preservation from an experimental afterthought to a critical component of comprehensive care. Advocates like Lindsay Beck fundamentally reshaped medical guidelines, coining the term "oncofertility" and persuading the National Cancer Institute to create an Office of Survivorship. And organizations like The Chick Mission have taken this advocacy further, pushing 18 states to mandate insurance coverage for oncofertility treatments. In many ways, the advocacy of cancer survivors provides a blueprint for how we can extend fertility coverage to people everywhere. At Maven, we're committed to a vision of healthcare that sees patients as whole people—with dreams, futures, and the right to choose their path to parenthood.
