Ever tried to solve a data visualization challenge in Power BI and been left scratching your head trying to figure out a solution? Here's what Aaron would tell you to get you unstuck... How often do you consult the additional visuals available from AppSource? Personally, I'm terrible at this and tend to try and figure out a solution using the standard visuals in Power BI. But that's changing... Here's a paraphrased question from one of our students... "I can solve this in Tableau in 5 minutes but haven't been able to in Power BI in the last hour" Sound familiar? Well, this is where the AppSource visuals come in really handy. There are tons of options that let you visualize your data with more options to add values, categories, dimensions, hierarchies, and more. And the student was able to solve their visualization challenge by importing one of the custom visuals. If you're struggling to create "the perfect" visual using the standard Power BI visual options, check out the custom visuals. It's highly likely the right visual is sitting there waiting for you to add it to your Power BI visual library.
