The Korean word maum [mah-eum] refers to the body as the intersection of different thoughts, emotions, memories, and visions within a unique self. It is mind, heart, body, and soul, reunified. maum both describes and drives the social mission of my anti-racist education consulting company. Drawing from over fifteen years of teaching and building public-facing Asian American Studies at seven higher-education institutions across the U.S.--from San Quentin Prison to Harvard University--our three JEDHI (justice, equity, diversity, healing, inclusion) services are: ?Online Asian American Studies courses (general public & tailored groups) ?Curriculum assistance (design & development) ?Professionalization (workshops, trainings, healing circles, discussion facilitations, & speaking engagements)
