Inspiring week here in Cali, Colombia at the COP16 Biodiversity conference. Meeting and co-creating a better future for our planet, particularly with the leaders and “do-ers” in the most threatened environments who are working tirelessly to empower local indigenous communities (Francisco von Hildebrand and Martin Von Hildebrand at Gaia Amazonas Foundation), Changemakers in the Finance community accelerating Nature-Based solutions (Alejandro Calderon at Mutual Empathy) and many others. There is hope and much more work to be done …quickly!

This week I'm excited to head back to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. It has been a few years since Matter has attended and I'm looking forward to connecting with old friends and colleagues once again on La Croisette. It has been our honor at Matter Unlimited to win Lions in years past speaking on stage at the Palais was truly a career highlight for me (TB photo below!) ...this year there is none of this pressure. My goal is to simply connect with other thinkers and changemakers within our industry; to listen and learn, and to look for opportunities for collective action on the main issues we are focused on these days in our work: Human and Planetary Health. To my friends and colleagues from my LinkedIn community, let me know if you're going and if there are any events you think I should not miss. I hope to see you there! ?
