Pickleball is the new golf when it comes to active business meetings. People are scheduling time on the court to cut deals. We're hearing this a lot and seeing it firsthand in our clubs. It makes perfect sense to me: A round of golf with a group of four can take 3-5 hours, depending on how good you all are (and how many pre-tee cocktails you had in the clubhouse) For busy people, that's A LOT of time. You can't do many of those per month. Pickleball on the other hand takes 30-60 minutes. It requires teamwork, competitiveness and grit, all things you like to see in potential partners. The best part is that it's easy to pick up. If you've never played a round of golf before, I guarantee you're not going to want to start during an important business meeting. Pickleball is simple to pick up, and you can be dinkin' in no time. Plus it's really fun! Smiling, laughing, and getting the endorphins flowing will leave a lasting positive impression on both parties. I know I've taken some meetings on the courts before. Anyone else experienced this?
