Meet the team for the 129th Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America! In four months, John, Cate, Allison, Sean, Mike, Emily, and Matt & Lucas will take off from Hopkinton with their sights set on Boylston Street. It's an honor to be a part of the Official Charity Program and we owe a huge thanks to Bank of America and the Boston Athletic Association for turning this dream into a reality. We have a huge announcement! This fall, we were accepted into the official Charity Program for the 129th Bank of America Boston Marathon taking place on April 21, 2025. We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to field a team in the best marathon in the world. We have partnered with Charity Teams and our application is ready! On Sunday, the foundation took part in the Falmouth Road Race through the Numbers For Non Profits program for the third year in a row. Our amazing team of runners raised $35,000 over the last few months with their fundraising efforts, and we cannot thank them enough. They did an incredible job on the course. Thank you to those who donated to the fundraising campaigns, attended our events, and cheered our runners on as they took on the 7 miles through Falmouth! Thank you NFNP!

Last week, we held our fourth annual Matt Brown Foundation Golf Tournament. Although a warm one, it felt great to have the sun and weather back on our side. We owe a huge thanks to everyone who played, volunteered, sponsored, and chipped in to make the day the success that it was. We are so lucky to have the support system that we have around us. Routinely, they go above and beyond even our wildest expectations, and allow us to do what we do: try and make someone's day a little bit better and a little bit easier than the day before. The first half of the year has already been incredible with the impact we've been able to have, but we're not done yet! Thank you for making all this possible.

The 4th Annual Matt Brown Foundation Golf Tournament is Monday, July 8! With our field of golfers set, we are reaching out to the community for Tee Box Sponsorships, as well as raffle prizes. Both have played a pivotal role in making each of the last three tournaments the success they were. Does your company or organization want to sponsor? This past weekend, we teamed up with The Thomas E. Smith Foundation for a special grant opportunity. Austin, born with cerebral palsy, had been without an accessible vehicle since the beginning of the year. Over the last four months, he has been dependent upon rideshare programs and others, often times traveling uncomfortably. By teaming up with Tom's foundation and Mobility Works, transportation is no longer an issue for Austin and his smile on Saturday said it all! Thank you Thomas Smith, Mobility Works, and all those who have helped us out along the way to get to this point. Would not have been doable without you and your support means everything! Excited to move our Boston Marathon count into double digits tomorrow. It's a special feeling knowing that this will be the fourth consecutive year we run for the Matt Brown Foundation, something that we set out to do many, many years ago. A huge thanks to everyone who has helped our fundraising campaign over the last two months. The foundation has had a great start to 2024 and our impact is going to continue to grow in these coming weeks. That wouldn't be possible without our unbelievable support system. Next stop: Hopkinton

The prep is done and the big day is directly in front of us! We want to thank all those who have helped with our fundraising campaign, those who have shared our posts and messages, and our Boston Marathon sponsors this year (Lewis’, Kaloutas, and the Boston Bruins).
