MathDash is excited to announce the first ever Math Esports Season, starting October 7th! Compete in a 30 minute challenges with peers at your level to solve problem at your level to climb the leaderboard, get a math rating, and win a MathDash T shirt. MathDash (YC W24) is turning math into a sport. The founders of Scale AI, Perplexity AI, and Cognition AI all picked up the problem-solving skills they would need to succeed by doing competitive math. This format sends competitors to the frontiers of math and science by encouraging innovative thinking, fostering a community, and promoting a love for math. Unfortunately, competitive math is underserved. The problems are too hard, the barrier to entry is too high, and the competitions that do exist are too infrequent. MathDash makes competitive math accessible to everyone. They have problems ranging from addition to advanced theory and host daily contests that only require an internet-connected device to join. You compete against people who are your level, and you can focus on learning the skills you want to learn. MathDash already has 200 of the best competitive mathletes participating in their tournaments, and users have solved over 400,000 arithmetic questions! Daniel Sun and Akshaj K. met 14 years ago doing competitive math and were top scorers on the USA Math Olympiad.
