Elliott, P.E., and has earned a reputation in engineering innovations that provide reliable and cost effective solutions. We regularly team with municipalities, state agencies, architects, developers and private clients by applying our skills and knowledge of the engineering challenges and solutions. We provide service to our clients from our West Michigan Office in Grand Rapids Michigan, our Southeast Michigan Office in Ann Arbor Michigan, and our Mid Michigan office in Okemos, Michigan; our services cover the entire Great Lakes Region. Our wholly owned subsidiary, MATECO Drilling Company is an environmental, geotechnical and HDD drilling contractor. Exciting Progress at the Acrisure Amphitheater in Grand Rapids! The Acrisure Amphitheater is taking shape at 201 Market Avenue SW, led by Grand Action 2.0. MTC is on-site performing construction materials testing (CMT) and structural steel inspections to help ensure quality throughout the project. Kailey H. has been leading the CMT field efforts, handling everything from observing subgrade proofrolls and compaction testing to concrete sampling and reinforcing steel documentation. Mike Holston & Michael Marvin have been performing structural steel testing, which includes inspecting welds, coatings, and verifying conformance with plans and specifications for steel decking, shear studs, and field repairs. So far, a majority of the structural concrete has been placed, with ongoing work at the truck dock and auxiliary structures. Structural steel inspections are currently focused on the canopy structure.
