?? Seeking a Non-Profit Research Partner to Develop AI & Storytelling-Based Learning Tools for Neurodivergent Communities We are looking for a non-profit research partner to collaborate on the development of AI-assisted tools and services using storytelling and scenario-based learning, with a special focus on supporting neurodivergent communities. Many of the grants we are exploring require private companies like ours to work alongside non-profits, and we believe this partnership can drive meaningful innovation in education, workforce training, and accessibility. ?? Who we are: Mastermind Adventures specializes in scenario-based instructional design, blending interactive storytelling with AI to create immersive, inclusive learning experiences. We are particularly passionate about developing tools that support and empower neurodivergent individuals through engaging, adaptive learning experiences. ?? What we’re looking for: A non-profit organization interested in researching, co-developing, and applying for grants with us to create AI-driven learning tools designed for neurodivergent learners, job seekers, and professionals. Whether your organization focuses on education, workforce development, accessibility, or behavioral research, we’d love to explore how we can align our efforts. ?? How you can help: If you are part of a non-profit—or know of one that would be a great fit—please message us here or email at [email protected] We welcome referrals and connections to organizations that share our vision. Let’s build something impactful together. #AI #Storytelling #ScenarioBasedLearning #Neurodiversity #InclusiveEducation #EdTech #WorkforceDevelopment #GrantOpportunities #NonProfitCollaboration

Since the launch of ChatGPT, educators at every level have been trying to outmaneuver AI-generated essays, test answers, and assignments. But let’s be honest: The genie is out of the bottle. And there’s no going back. So instead of fighting AI, the real question is: How do we integrate it in a way that enhances learning, rather than replacing it? ?? Scenario-based learning is one solution. Instead of just writing papers or memorizing facts, students should be solving problems, presenting ideas, and integrating AI as a support tool rather than a shortcut. ?? AI can also provide transparency. Instead of banning AI tools, educators should be asking students to turn in their chat logs—showing not just their final answers, but how they arrived at them. This would offer deeper insights into how students think, where their learning gaps are, and how they process information. At Mastermind Adventures, we’re already tackling this challenge with Bubot. ?? One of Bubot’s key features is an AI-powered analysis tool that helps students: ? Improve how they ask questions to get deeper insights. ? Receive personalized feedback aligned with rubrics and learning outcomes. ? Identify learning gaps—so they’re learning smarter, not just faster. ?? For educators, Bubot also: ? Analyzes student chat logs to pinpoint where students are succeeding and struggling—giving instructors real data to improve their teaching strategies. ? Acts as an assistive technology tool, helping students who struggle with comprehension ask unlimited questions, in their own way, until they truly understand the material. This is where AI-driven learning is headed. Not as a replacement for educators, but as a collaborator, a tutor, and a tool for better learning outcomes. ?? How do you think AI should be integrated into education rather than avoided? #FutureOfLearning #AIinEducation #EdTech #InteractiveLearning #ScenarioBasedLearning #Gamification

#FailureFriday: When Too Much Choice Became a Problem Right before the pandemic, we designed an interactive game for a restaurant. On the surface, it had everything: multiple characters, rich storylines, tons of choices—it was the kind of deeply immersive experience we love to create. And yet… I consider it a failure. Not because the participants didn’t enjoy themselves—they did. But because it was too complicated. There were too many characters, too much information, too many options. Instead of feeling empowered, participants felt overwhelmed. ?? What I learned? Simple is best. ? You want enough depth to make an experience engaging—but not so much that players don’t know where to start. ? Information needs to be delivered in a way that is easy to understand and fun for all levels of engagement. A game designer friend once gave me the best advice: ?? “Don’t reduce the difficulty of the solution—improve the scaffolding that makes it easy for people to get a ‘win.’” That stuck with me. Now, when we design AI-driven training scenarios, we prioritize clarity, structure, and incremental wins, so participants feel immersed, not lost. The AI is there to explain, support and help participants when they feel lost. They can use simple language to ask as many questions as they need to feel grounded. Feeling grounded is VERY important in learning scenarios. Because the best learning experiences don’t overwhelm you with choices—they guide you toward great decisions - decisions that are yours alone. ?? Have you ever designed something too complex and had to scale it back? What did you learn? #FailureFriday #GameDesign #CorporateTraining #Gamification #LessonsLearned

You step into a dimly lit room with your team. A ticking clock on the wall. A locked door. Scattered around you—clues, puzzles, hidden messages. You have one hour to escape. What do you do? You don’t just sit and absorb information. You search, discuss, test ideas, make mistakes, adapt, and collaborate. Every clue connects to something bigger. The challenge pulls you in, makes you think critically, and keeps you engaged. Now imagine if, instead of all that excitement, you were given a 50-slide PowerPoint explaining how escape rooms work… and then asked to take a quiz. ?? That’s the difference between immersive, gamified learning and traditional corporate training. Most training programs fail because they’re passive, unrelatable, and disconnected from real-world challenges. Employees don’t retain the information because they’re not experiencing it—they’re just trying to get through it. Gamification fixes this. Here’s how: ?? Make it interactive – Give employees a mission where they must apply their knowledge, not just memorize facts. ?? Create real stakes – Just like an escape room, add time pressure, competition, or consequences that make the challenge feel meaningful. ?? Encourage teamwork – Training is better when people work together to solve problems, rather than absorbing content in isolation. ?? It leaves room for creativity – When training is presented in a scenario, it inspires the participant to actively engage their creative thinking. There is no longer a single correct answer, and this is more like real-life. When learning feels like an experience—a game, a challenge, a story—people don’t just complete training. They remember it. They engage. They grow. ?? What’s your best (or worst) escape room experience? And what did it teach you about teamwork? #CorporateTraining #Gamification #EscapeRoom #LearningAndDevelopment #WorkplaceLearning

You did it. You landed the job. The one with the better salary, great benefits, and a team you can’t wait to meet. You step into the office and log into your company portal on Day 1, feeling that mix of excitement and nerves. The scent of fresh coffee lingers in the break room. Your manager greets you with a smile. Your desk is set up, your inbox is full of welcome emails, and your first meeting is on the calendar. Then it begins. A link arrives. “Please complete your mandatory onboarding training.” Click. A 50-slide PowerPoint loads. Click. A 30-minute compliance video with a monotone narrator drones on. Click. A quiz filled with obvious answers pops up—because let’s be real, this training isn’t meant to teach, it’s meant to check a box. By lunchtime, your excitement has faded. The enthusiasm you had walking in has been replaced with information overload, passive engagement, and zero connection to your actual job. You’re getting through it—but you’re not learning from it. ?? This is why most corporate training fails. ?? ?? Here’s how to fix it: Instead of passive content that dumps information, corporate training should be active, engaging, and immersive—built to make people care. ?? Gamify it – Give employees a role, a mission, or a challenge that matters. ?? Make it interactive – Let them make decisions, solve problems, and see the impact of their choices. ?? Use storytelling – We remember stories, not slides. Build a narrative where employees experience the concepts instead of passively absorbing them. ?? Training should feel like an adventure, not an obligation. Because when employees are invested, they don’t just complete training—they remember it, apply it, and grow from it. ?? What’s the worst training experience you’ve ever had? #CorporateTraining #Gamification #WorkplaceLearning #LMS #LearningAndDevelopment

When you start a business, you do it for the passion of the work. But when you scale a business, you often find yourself stepping away from the things you love most to manage the less exciting (but critical) parts—hiring, building SOPs, handling taxes, and navigating government oversight. You have to learn to say no, set boundaries, and make hard choices—sometimes unpopular ones. It’s harder than it looks. We went from a 75-person team post-pandemic to nearly closing the company. Our pivot to AI-enhanced learning experiences meant rebuilding with a small, agile team. And while we’ll grow again, this time, we’re moving forward with deliberate action, more caution, and smarter—not faster—growth. ?? My husband and I have a saying: “dot, dot, dot.” It goes like this: "We’re going to build an immersive learning platform with AI-driven scenarios and… dot, dot, dot… Success!" The dot, dot, dot is the million unpredictable steps in between—the questions you don’t even know to ask yet, the lessons learned through trial, error, success, and failure. That’s the real work of building a company. No one wants to go through the hard stuff, but that’s where the growth happens. It’s where we’ve grown—and grown up. And now, I think we are ready. We see a lot of companies springing up around AI offering all kinds of solutions. Where we feel Mastermind Adventures has an advantage is that we have already tried, failed, pivoted and survived. We have experience on our side, and 10 years of knowing the impact of instructional design with immersive, scenario based learning. The tech is just icing on the cake. ?? What’s been your ‘dot, dot, dot’ moment in business? #Entrepreneurship #ScalingABusiness #Startups #LessonsLearned #Leadership
