?? Celebrating a Decade of Data Excellence! ?? Last week, we marked a significant milestone—the 10th Anniversary of Georgia Tech’s MS in Analytics program—with an unforgettable dinner at the Georgia Aquarium! This special evening brought together alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the program to reflect on a decade of innovation, collaboration, and analytics education. We celebrated not just the program’s success, but the remarkable community that has made it possible. A highlight of the night was honoring our distinguished corporate partners and select alumni, whose unwavering support and engagement have been instrumental in shaping the program's legacy and future. To everyone who has been part of this journey—thank you for your contributions, passion, and dedication. Here’s to the next 10 years of breaking barriers, solving complex problems, and advancing the field of data science and analytics! ?? "In collaboration with technology company NVIDIA, the College is unveiling the nation’s first AI supercomputing hub built exclusively for teaching students about AI. The AI Makerspace will give our students hands-on experience with supercomputing power that is typically found only in research labs or in tech companies. Our AI Makerspace is unlike anything available to students anywhere in the country. This computing power is a digital sandbox for students to better understand and use AI in the classroom — it’s a tool to learn, experiment, prototype, and showcase AI-driven ideas at scale. The Makerspace will also better position our students after graduation as they work with AI professionals and help shape the technology’s future applications."

I celebrated #internationalwomensday2024 by escorting 19 (!) of our Georgia Tech Master's in Analytics students to #wids2024 at Stanford University where we had the opportunity to hear from a line up of amazing women doing incredible things in the field of #datascience. It was my pleasure to share this opportunity of sisterhood, mentorship, and idea sharing with the students! Thank you to Women in Data Science (WiDS) Worldwide for coordinating such a spectacular event. We were also able to catch up with some local #alumni for dinner — Thanks to Rochisman Datta, Minghan (Chris) Xu, Shai Weener, Manqiu L., Anurag Roy, Akshay Jadiya, and Saurabh Aggarwal for joining us! ?? #alumniengagement #conference #womenindatascience #georgiatech

A huge and sincere thank-you to Andrew Milley, Rebecca Little, and Rahul Ghosh for joining us last week as guest panelists for our final MSA Career Services Workshop of the year(!): "How to Succeed as an Intern and a FT Employee: What Every MSA Must Know about Professionalism." We deliver about six formal workshops across the fall and spring semester for each new MSA cohort. We received amazing feedback from students after this one, including it was "the best" workshop of the year. Andrew Milley, Rebecca Little, and Rahul Ghosh, your tips and insights on navigating the workplace environment and culture--including your guidance on ensuring professionalism regardless of how nuanced a situation may be--will prove invaluable to MSA students now and in the future! #msa #georgiatech
