The Healey-Driscoll Administration announced two standing orders today that will allow eligible MassHealth members and Health Safety Net patients to obtain prenatal vitamins and over-the-counter oral contraceptives for free. “Our administration is committed to expanding access to reproductive and maternal health care across Massachusetts. MassHealth has launched the MassHealth Program Advisory Committee (MPAC)?to bring stakeholders together in shaping policies and programs that better serve our members. We’re seeking approximately 12 members from: ?? State or local consumer groups or community organizations serving MassHealth members ?? Providers and administrators familiar with members' care needs ?? Managed care entities participating in MassHealth The MPAC will also include representatives from state agencies serving MassHealth members.
