MassHealth is proud to partner with Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and The Arc of Massachusetts (The Arc) to make dental care more inclusive and welcoming. We’re grateful to Tufts Dental Facilities and The Arc for sharing their expertise and perspectives— spanning providers, patients, and caregivers— at the?Yankee Dental Congress, hosted by the Massachusetts Dental Society on January 30th. Learning directly from the lived experiences of self-advocates and their caregivers highlights the opportunities to improve dental access for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism. By fostering empathy and trust, we can create a more welcoming experience for all patients. See a photo below from the event!
