The program provides semi-permanent, off-grid, and grid-flexible charging solutions to help fleet owners electrify without the need for immediate large-scale investments in infrastructure. Congratulations to MassCEC Offshore Wind Works grantee STEAM the Streets on the release of their offshore wind career awareness and exploration module! These fantastic videos highlight the opportunities brought by this growing industry and introduce viewers to the variety of career options available to them within offshore wind.
The Offshore Wind industry is new to the United States, so you know what that means? Opportunities! They need us! The industry needs people to fill the thousands of jobs that will be opening up. It’s not just wind turbine jobs though! We’re talking hands-on jobs like welding and electric jobs, science jobs, engineering jobs, jobs on ships, and office jobs like planners, project managers, and marketers. So many different types of jobs and directions that you can branch off to. This short video we produced is an introduction to the growing field of Offshore Wind. It features three individuals who work in the field and find their unique adventures in very different roles. Yesterday we had the opportunity to present at the Clean Energy Caucus’s inaugural meeting, where our CEO, Dr. Emily Reichert, discussed our work in the climatetech sector, recent workforce development wins, and our new climatetech economic development strategy. MASFA will support expanding access to solar energy for low-income and disadvantaged communities through financial assistance and technical assistance initiatives. ?? Income Verification Services: The selected provider will be responsible for providing a robust, accessible, swift, and secure process for receiving, processing, and verifying household income while minimizing the burden on households.
