?? Massachusetts Cannabis Industry at Risk: Stop Corporate Domination ?? Equity operators, small business owners, and cannabis advocates—our industry is under threat. Multistate Operators (MSOs) have filed eight bills this legislative session that could triple their market share in Massachusetts, pushing out social equity businesses and independent operators. ?? What’s at Stake? If passed, these bills would: ?? Allow MSOs to control up to nine licenses outright ?? Let them fully own six licenses while holding 35% of four more ?? Expand their wholesale dominance, controlling up to 1/3 of the industry Meanwhile, social equity businesses are just starting to gain traction with delivery services, social consumption licenses, and long-overdue grant funding. Handing more control to MSOs now would undermine local businesses, restrict competition, and reverse years of advocacy for industry fairness. ?? Why This Matters Massachusetts voters fought for a cannabis market that prioritizes: ? Opportunities for communities harmed by the war on drugs ? A fair, competitive marketplace that fosters small business success ? High-quality products driven by innovation, not monopolization We must act now to stop these bills and protect the integrity of our industry. ?? Take Action Today! 1?? Sign EON’s Public Letter to elected officials to show opposition to these bills.: https://lnkd.in/edUiyKpA 2?? Email your legislators using EON’s advocacy tool to make sure they hear from the people who matter—YOU.: https://lnkd.in/eXgmrf89 3?? Spread the word! Forward this post, tag industry allies, and make noise. ?? We fought hard for an equitable, competitive cannabis market. Let’s make sure big corporate interests don’t take it away. #CannabisEquity #SocialEquity #MSO #SupportSmallBusiness #FairMarkets #CannabisJustice #MassachusettsCannabis #ActNow

Come see our friend, Rich Maga?a, bring some knowledge and history for another collaboration with Queer in Cannabis! He'll be sharing the stage and chatting with John Stephens and Cori D. Kalmus. You don't want to miss all the stories these trailblazers have to share! While you're at WinterGreen, take the chance to snag a membership and join the team. Yes, MassCann likes to get a little wild with how we sell raffle tickets. Now, you've read this far because you're pumped for WinterGreen, but you haven't seen any mention of food. Don't worry my friend, there will be plenty of tasty goods to keep you warm and satisfied. MassCann knows how to take care of their guests.
