As America's first-established horticultural society, we have practiced horticulture 'for the public good' since 1829.

关于我们

Massachusetts Horticultural Society is dedicated to encouraging the science and practice of horticulture and to developing the public’s enjoyment, appreciation, and understanding of plants and the environment. Throughout the year, we host classes and courses to connect all ages and backgrounds to plants and the environment. These programs explore plants, gardening, and the natural world. We steward The Gardens at Elm Bank, a blend of historic and contemporary gardens that demonstrate how plants and design are an integral part of everyday life. Our gardens and programs highlight sustainable design, interpret cultural practices, and foster pure delight. As America’s oldest organized horticultural society we celebrate horticulture for the public good, “Commune Bonum.”
