??Court Service Center News ?? It is with tremendous pride and happiness that we announce, after two and a half years of hybrid operations, the hiring of 33 new employees this past year, 8 renovation/remodeling projects, the Court Service Centers are finally returning to full-time pre-pandemic hours TODAY, September 3. Current CSC locations providing full-time in-person services are Boston, Brockton, Greenfield, Lowell, Lawrence, Springfield, and Worcester. CSCs will continue to provide remote services and maintain our Virtual Court Service Center (call center/intake line - open daily 9am-2pm). We are also extremely excited to announce the opening of a brand new Court Service Center in Taunton today. The south coastal area has been long overdue for our services. To start, we will be open, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are overwhelmingly grateful for the immense support we’ve received to get to this point. Special thanks to my senior manager Carolin H. and my entire management team. To say they’ve been working hard is an understatement. So incredibly proud. On August 18th, Senior Manager of CSCs Carolin H. and Summer Intern Mark Tran, attended the August Moon Festival sponsored by the Quincy Asian Resource, Inc (QARI). This event is a celebration of the harvest and the moon as symbols of prosperity, happiness, and unity. Carolin and Mark were able to connect with both members of the community, as well as community leaders and organizations, to share information on the free services offered by the Court Service Centers statewide. Special thank you to Rasika Kale and QARI for inviting us to take part in this event.

The Supreme Judicial Court has issued an order repealing SJC Rule 3:16, which required that newly admitted lawyers to the Massachusetts bar complete a practicing with professionalism course. The order took effect on 8/14/24. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/dSaDJQYd
