Outside the Dunkin' on Cambridge Street, across from Mass General, Daniel Daneshvar, MD, PhD, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital neuroscientist and Mass General Brigham brain injury expert, and his wife, Marta, unexpectedly had a sweet little munchkin one evening after dinner—but not in the way you might expect.
That little munchkin, as it were, was their third child, Lincoln, who was exceptionally eager to make her debut after her mom experienced an unusually rapid labor that evening in October. Baby Lincoln was born across the street from the hospital, just steps away from the front doors of Mass General, where the family had planned to give birth.
Mass General Police and Security officers, including Officer Paul Camuso, rushed to assist, paving a path to the ED where medical teams were ready to provide support. It was a whirlwind of teamwork and care. Camuso visited the family the next day and shared a moment of joy with the newest member of the Mass General Brigham family.
Congratulations to the Daneshvar family on their sweet new addition!
