Massachusetts Association of School Committees转发了
This year’s joint MASC/MASS conference was a true site of collaboration and relationship building. All in service of making our public schools, our school and community institutions, better for students and families. Attending sessions and workshops and seeing first hand the contribution and voice of our local school committee members Jack Livramento and Melissa Costa was a highlight. We happily found ourselves joined by strong voices in GNBVT school committee member Carol Pimental and Lawrence school committee member Jonathan Guzman. With 351 communities serving 900,000 students, and a constant flurry of policy, procedural demands, and claims on resources, it is more important than ever that New Bedford is seen and heard. Growing cities like New Bedford, Lawrence, Brockton, Holyoke and others are at the table, speaking up, sometimes speaking out, but most importantly, partnering, learning, and doing those deliberate, incremental, focused tasks that underlie all progress.
