Please join us in welcoming Carlotta Patten to the Massachusetts Appeals Court! Pursuant to G. L. c. 211A, § 6, the Justices of the Appeals Court have appointed Carlotta to serve a term of three years as an Assistant Clerk.

Yesterday, Appeals Court justices and staff traveled to Western New England University School of Law where Justice William J. Meade, Maureen E. Walsh, and Paul Hart Smyth heard oral argument and answered questions from students. Thank you to the students and WNEU Law faculty for their engagement and warm welcome!

Justices Gregory I. Massing, Vickie L. Henry, and Marguerite T. Grant heard oral argument this morning at UMass Law Dartmouth and were elated to spend time with students during the question-and-answer session to follow.
