The MMP team is immensely grateful to everyone that joined us last week in support of our Cheers! to Mentoring event. Thursday evening we gathered together with so many of you to celebrate the power of mentoring, and to award the 10th Annual ALKU Scholar - Congratulations to Elnos! Your story, your strength, perseverance and your goals for your future are inspiring, and we can't wait to see what your future holds! THANK YOU to our YLC co-emcees, Lyla and Betty; to our Board Chair Warren K. As we approach the election tomorrow, we want to take a moment to encourage everyone in every corner of the Commonwealth to participate in this important civic duty: VOTING! If you are unable to vote, we encourage you to get involved by staying informed, motivating people in your community who can vote, and/or volunteering to support election day activities. Regardless of the outcome, we want to assure our partners that, at Mass Mentoring Partnership, our values and our mission will continue to guide us as we deliver on building a mentoring movement that supports all young people in the Commonwealth. We will continue to keep relationships at the center of our thinking and of our work because we know that we are stronger TOGETHER. While the stakes of this upcoming election are certainly high, we know that, no matter what, the work that each of our program partners will remain critically important and require ongoing support from MMP. Our team is committed to doing our part this election season and remain inspired to persist because of YOU and our YOUTH.
