On Feb 22, 2021, the SBA announced some exciting PPP program changes including the inclusion of Sole Proprietors & Independent Contractors. They also established a 14-day, exclusive PPP loan application period for businesses & nonprofits with fewer than 20 employees, beginning 02/24/21. With these exciting new announcements for this new round of expanded PPP, as well as other financial support options for Small businesses, such as EIDL, we partnered with Angela Diette, CPA with Shepard and Goldstein, LLP. Our own MLEC Financial Officer, Becki Gray, hosts this insightful conversation on the PPP program and how to take advantage of changes made to the program for round 2 of funding.
