This week, we hosted an investor breakfast where MRC Partners Jeff Horn and Brooke Hobgood discussed the state of investments for 7Crew Enterprises and Green Hook Royalty Partners with 7Crew Enterprises CEO Kendra Burris and Masked Rider Energy CEO Austin Adkins. Investors also heard from Senior Associate?Dean with the Rawls College of Business Mayukh Dass, Ph.D.,?about the landscape of AI and how to drive success from its application.

Brooke Hobgood, partner at Masked Rider Capital, attended the 7 Brew Inaugural Franchise Summit in Rogers, Arkansas, alongside 7Crew Enterprises, LLC CEO Kendra Burris and COO Chris Farr. 7 Brew projected significant growth for the company in 2025, and our team is leading the way installing three buildings just last week alone. To date, we have operations in five states, including eastern New Mexico with Roswell being our first location, and 33 open stands. Needless to say, the coffee business is brewing!?

Our team attended the 2025 Economic Outlook Luncheon hosted by PlainsCapital Bank where Dr. Ray Perryman provided insight on the state of the U.S. economy and the long-term growth expected in Texas. He said Lubbock's advantages include leading innovation, notably influenced by its agriculture industry, as well as a strong health care system, and a vibrant workforce pipeline through educational partnerships such as Texas Tech University, a Tier One research institution.
