This morning Mascom hosted the Botswana Public Private Partnership Task Force for preventing and combating Money Laundering, Financing of Terrorism and Financing of proliferation Q1 meeting. The task force which is made up of different financial services providers such as telcos, banks and government arms, all led by the Financial Intelligence Agency (FIA), carries the objective of driving collaborative efforts between the public and private sectors. As a key stakeholder in the financial services space through our industry leading MyZaka Mobile Money, Mascom is committed to collaborative efforts in combating financial crimes.
