Masa Tool has developed the Microconic? system specifically for holding workpieces from ?0.15mm to 10mm (?0.006"? to 0.390"?) in any machine that has a collet-type chuck. The system consists of two major components: The Microconic? cartridge, which transforms the work spindle for miniature workholding, and the “right-sized” Microconic collet, which fits in the cartridge. * Unsurpassed concentricity, typically 3 microns (.0001"?) and guaranteed to be within 5 microns (0.0002"?) in production use. * Works with either draw-type or push-type standard collet systems that are in any machine. Using the MASA Microconic? System allows Machining Creativity more than ever before. Finally, with the precision, strength and new Overgrip capabilities of MASA Microconic?
