Congrats on 50 years, Altman Plants!
It began as a hobby in a Los Angeles backyard, a deeply curious and enthusiastic passion for plants shared by two people. In 1975 it blossomed into something more. We’re talking about Altman Plants and company co-founders Ken and Deena Altman and their decision to go all in on a hobby gone awry, in the best possible way, and begin offering their beautiful succulents and cacti to other plant lovers. This year, we at Altman Plants are celebrating the company’s 50th anniversary and 50 years of family ownership. Growing, breeding, and distributing #livingtreasures, from succulents and cacti to roses and hibiscus, to all manner of drought-tolerant shrubs and flowering annuals.
